You can create as many Custom Fields as you need in Synchroteam. A Custom Field can be added to the following categories: Jobs, Customers, Sites, Equipment, Users and Quotations/Invoices
1 - Click on "Settings" from any view
2 - Click "Custom fields"
Choose the category for which you want to add a custom field to and enter the required information:
1 - Custom field name
2 - Custom field Type (Text, Value List, Date, Numeric, Checkbox, Autocomplete Text, Email, Phone).
3 - If the field is private or not: a private field will not be visible to your customers, via all secure links, nor will it be visible on the job report PDF.
4 - If the field is mandatory or not. In the example below you will not be able to create a job without giving a "McDonald ref".
5 - Click on the "Add" button
6 -You can change the order of fields by using the cross to move.
If you choose "Value List", a new box appears so you can enter the selected values (one value per line)
Example - we added 3 customs fields to Customers
- 1 "VIP" field -> list of values: yes / no
- 1 "PIN" field -> Numeric
- 1 field "Note" -> Numeric, Private
New fields are now available for all Customers
Custom fields can be:
- Imported and exported
- Displayed in Job reports (unless private)
- Displayed on mobile devices
