Activities can be created in order to be visible in the various schedule views (holidays, training, sick leave, etc.). These activities can be created for a Technician, a Team or all technicians.
1 : click on "Settings" from any view
2 : click on "Activity Types"
Example: to add a "Holiday" activity type
1 : Name the activity type
2 : Choose between 2 Types of activities : "At work activity" and "Unavailability" knowing that an unavailability will create a conflict whenever a job is scheduled at the same time.
3 : Choose whether the activity is private or not. If you select yes, then the activity won't be synchronized on the mobile app and technicians won't be able to see, create and edit them.
4 : Pick the color you want to associate to this activity
5 : Finally, click on the "Add" button
Example : let's create a "Holiday" activity " for a Technician
In order to create an activity:
1 : Go to Schedule
2 : Then go to Day, Week, Month or Activities
3. Click on Add then on "Unavalability / Activity"
Then :
- Select an activity type
- Select a technician or a team
- Click on the start date then choose a date in the calendar, then click on the end date and do the same.
- Provide an start and end time or tick the "All Day" option (from 00:00 to 23:59)
- Add a note (optional)
You will then to see the activity in the Schedule views and you will be able to edit it by clicking on it then by clicking on its timeframe.

Please note that if you activate the Time Tracking in "Settings" > "Options" you will have access to other options.
You will be able to:
1 : Create a 3rd type of activity : Travel
2 : Choose whether you want to consider the activity as payable or not
Travel activities can only be started from the mobile application as they enable you to get a travel's real duration as well as the distances made by technicians during their work days.

Travel activities also allows you to track technicians in the map during their trips, provided that they have have activated the GPS Tracking option.
IMPORT YOUR ACTIVITES
Synchroteam also allows you to import your activities.
To do so go to “Settings” (1) > “Import / Export” (2), click on “Import Activities” (3), then “Upload”, select your csv. file, click on “Preview” and proceed with the mapping of your fields (4) before importing your file (5).
Your file must contain at least the activity name and the start and end date.
If you leave the technician and group fields empty, then the activity will be scheduled for all technicians.
